How to use BDA Connect – Getting started
Welcome to BDA Connect, this is the first part in a series of ‘how to’ blog posts in order explain how to use our new site. If you are a member of the BDA, you can login to BDA Connect using your BDA username and password. The login module (pictured below) can be found in the upper right-hand-side section.
If you haven’t registered already with the BDA website you need to complete the first time login process, which can be done on the following site: http://www.bda.org/getstarted
Once logged in, check your profile and make sure you update your avatar picture, you can do this by clicking on your screen name or avatar.
To change your avatar, first go to ‘Profile’ followed by ‘Change Avatar’ and follow the onscreen instructions.
If you would like to change your notifications or profile visibility, you can find these under the settings options.
Note: individual groups have their own email notification settings and as a member of that group you can choose how frequently you are notified of any changes in a specific group, for more information check this blog post on how to use groups.
